Mayde Creek Jr. High Teacher Receives T.E.A.C.H. Award

   

Tara Haworth of Mayde Creek Jr. High was selected as the secondary level recipient of the T.E.A.C.H. Award (Texas Educators Achieving Classroom Honors), established by the Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (Texas ASCD). Haworth received this award by inspiring and challenging her students through effective classroom strategies.

Haworth will be recognized at the 2012 Texas ASCD Annual Conference on October 14-16 in Dallas. Haworth will also recieve a one year Texas ASCD membership and recognition in Leadership, the ASCD’s bi-monthly publication.
